Some thoughts on Metropolis 2.0

Tomorrow, we begin rolling out the first phase of Metropolis 2.0, starting with the @Lamborghini mint on @opensea. 100% of Wilder World's proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase WILD on the open market.

Revenue will then turn on—every week, forever—beginning next month with the release of Packs. Packs include three unique in-game items across different industries, each with immediate utility and limited to a specific Season (every three months). Each week, a limited number of Packs will be available based on supply and demand: half through auction, and half through in-game grinding.

To supercharge Metropolis, we’re also introducing a powerful onchain AI system for crafting community items, speculating and voting on them, and integrating them into the game. Powered by WILD, this system connects directly into our land NFT resource economy creating one of the first fully virtual digital supply chains for the metaverse. It’s the first major opportunity for creators to earn big inside Wilder World—and have a lot of fun doing it. 👀

Weekly Pack sales will be conducted in USDC or ETH. 100% of the proceeds will be used to purchase WILD on market. From there, 2.5% will be permanently burned, while the remaining WILD will be split—half going to the treasury, and half distributed to WILD stakers.
