We are devasted to hear about the recent exploit and can imagine how difficult this must be for everyone involved.
THORChain is decentralized and permissionless like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB Chain.
What responsibility should Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB Chain bear when handling known stolen funds?
@star_okx@GracyBitget
Completely agreed with @THORChain
Nobody cares about users’ safety until they get hacked themselves.
I remember when I investigated $RAVE and $LAB, I found what I believed was evidence that this exchange had a full backend setup capable of manipulation. Tokens were pumping from $0.10 to $30, and they never even tagged or warned users about anything
they just watched while people lost billions.
Now that they’ve been hacked, why should other platforms break their own promises just to save their funds?
Garrett Jin (@GarrettBullish), the largest $ZEC short, is now sitting on a $33.66M unrealized loss!
Liquidation price: $4,792.01
But his 1,333 $BTC ($108.57M) long is now up $4.5M.
