Users can now carry their VeroPay account in Apple Wallet, top up instantly with Apple Pay, and use it across the same NFC ecosystem as a physical card, without needing one.

On the product side, @GaupaLabs is building the next evolution of the iOS experience on top of this infrastructure:
• Pay and Earn points in a tap. No app needed.
• Full NFC-based usage natively on your phone
• Gamification layer for user engagement
• Merchant-side tools and features

Next release will bring this ecosystem fully together.

technically as the capabilities of AI is growing, we are urged to try to attack our systems more, trying to build code which attacks the system and we have to rethink even if the underlying libraries are safe or not.

recent attacks everywhere is making you more nervous and more cautious. re-checking everything again and again and again.

But development still goes on with full force.

A few key highlights.

(b) A full account for $EGLD holders, what was funded, what was built, what was ratified.
(c) A focused look at 2026, SUPERNOVA, and what comes next.

The picture is simple: the network has been rebuilt from the ground up. Set for a radical reset with the launch of SUPERNOVA. Ahead of this new GENESIS moment, we are documenting the work, clearing the record, and showing what was built.

There's one thing this team has been consistently known for, backed by the data: TECHNOLOGY SUPERIORITY, ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE, PRODUCTIVITY OUTPUT, that benchmarks at the top of the industry. Delivered with a team a fraction the size of our peers.

Security is a must in the digital world and it has to be tackled with full strength.
April was pretty bad for crypto when it comes to hacks, I think every single day there was a hack in smart contracts, or bridges, or validations, or oracles.

The agentic era speeds up the discovery of errors / bugs 🐛 and this means engineers need to slow down sometimes in creating new features and spend a bunch of time in auditing and reauditing everything, with all the available tools.

Supernova is coming and security / consensus mechanism wise is at another level compared to anything known before. And we are hardening even more, fixing all edge cases, all things which would degrade performance.

Time to Build more! This is MultiversX!

Hardening security across every live module.

We are in the early weaponization phase of frontier AI. The team is reanalyzing the security assumptions behind every module we run in production. Surface by surface, layer by layer.

As we have discovered in the past, MultiversX, myself, and perhaps several other team members have been targets of a highly-sophistication attack campaign, by Lazarus and other groups among them. Every attempt has been detected, contained, defended. What is unmistakable to me, is that the raw intelligence now available to attackers has materially elevated the sophistication, speed, and creativity of these groups.

The vital work done by the team has surfaced a class of issues that did not exist as viable threat vectors twelve months ago. Each one identified, patched, and folded back into a continuous hardening pipeline.

Security is and continues to be the highest priority over the coming weeks. And the shift here is structural: raw AI offensive capability is being normalized into the baseline threat model of every open source project on earth. Until that single fact is internalized by open source and blockchain teams, new attacks and vulnerabilities will be exploited every single day. Responsible teams should swiftly reorder their priorities around this reality. Now.

Alongside the vital work done by our engineering team, we very much appreciate the continuous surgical effort put in by the resourceful network of builders, validators, and community members, surfacing issues, proposing improvements, and sharpening the system as we prepare for what comes next.

All focus is on this 360° security review until the hardening phase concludes.
