It’s so hard to accept that #CitySummit24 is almost over. 😭 Especially after today’s amazing Afternoon General Session!

Today’s session focused on the future – with an emphasis on AI. We heard from Mistique Cano, Director of Policy and Public Affairs at NLC Centennial Sponsor @Google (and a former NLC intern!) on our newly released AI Report and Toolkit, informed by NLC’s AI Advisory Committee. We heard from NLC CEO @ceanthony50 on the necessity of cybersecurity training for cities, towns and villages. We heard from city leaders on how AI has benefited their communities.

And finally, we heard from AI specialist, futurist and author @cryswashington on the power of AI, and its possibilities and pitfalls. “Don’t try to be caught up,” Washington advised. “Instead, adopt a culture of curiosity.”
