@LewisBusbyMedia@TouringCarHub@DanCammish I reckon Restart. Who have the car to do well, but not the monster napa have. But restart need the sponsorship funds that ultimately Napa dont necessarily need as much of. I think hes in the best place for his best results and the drivers get on so well. But Sutton is elite.
@TouringCarHub I just dont see how this fills a gap unless they force other series to falter. I.e. minis. They're 20k cheaper to run and buy, and there are so many out there that figure could be half the price of this new series. That's a lot of money that they need to find.
There's no way this #btcc film is real and will ever get made. Sketchy AF. Director/producer/actor seems like a complete rando, their kickstarter is aiming for 300k and has... £400. Do we need a btcc film? No, not really, and not on that budget.. some kind of scam.
@___BMA___ Makes me think what is actually causing the cost to rise? They run spec parts, spec engines suspension, brakes, wheels, electronics, subframes. There's so much standardised. What's causing it??
@TouringCarHub The irony being they had an actual media day where they shot all the promo stuff for btcc to get this very shot, they were hanging out the back of a car 😅
What a weekend. Two days in the East Midlands for the opening round at Donington Park. Lots of faces caught up with from Insta/twitter/tiktok, an old friend from sim racing for race 3, and a buddy from way back that I met on YouTube. #btcc
Sitting in front of the window tonight and look out and see the moon. Suddenly feels very poignant to remember there are four people headed there for an orbit around it.
@Oligarch097@PolePositionist Calm down, they used to di this every 6 weeks when the fia were trying to bring down the cost of f1. They used their position to try and bankrupt other teams.
@RyanceyReturns The technology was made famous by the British. The Harrier jet was the predecessor to this and was very successful. Maybe take note that not all technology comes from your absurdly overly patriotic nation.
@thekitze@brain_nullptr External walls, brick and blocks are common in most places in Europe, especially uk, but anything above the ground floor of the house is usually studs and plasterboard.
