@RayDalio@elonmusk The “best part” also contributed to the boom in air CO2 concentration, currently at 432 ppm. At the Bicentennial 50 yr ago, it was 332 ppm so 30% increase, worldwide, in 50 yr with no sign of slowing down. That trajectory will need to change if we want to keep sustaining.
@PeteRicketts Since the Bicentennial 50 yrs ago, global population has doubled and the US population has grown by 50%. The air CO2 concentration has also grown by 30% worldwide. So, we’re warmer with more people. Interesting times lay ahead.
@PeteRicketts No mention of the tax cuts for the mega wealthy too, or the ever compounding national debt under Trump. Do you call that fiscal conservatism? I don’t.
@SenatorRicketts@POTUS Current air CO2 is 432 ppm. At the Bicentennial 50 yrs ago, it was 332 ppm. That’s a 30% increase, worldwide, in 50 yrs, with no signs of slowing down. Persistent wildfires and drought are the new normal until we change that trajectory.
@SuzeOrmanShow It would be nice if the US government heeded your advice about debt accumulation. Our current POTUS is a debt monster (not that the Ds are any better).
@SenatorRicketts@SenSchmitt Assorted Trump companies have filed bankruptcy 6X. He’s now doing the same with USA debt growth. If we’re going to make it another 250 yrs, we need to pay down the national debt.
@JessePeltan Decentralized power is the way out of this mess. Air CO2 is now 432 ppm. At Bicentennial 50 yrs ago, it was 332 ppm. That’s a 30% increase, worldwide, in 50 yrs. The earth warming issue is here to stay, until the trajectory changes, kinda like PFAS.
@McFaul Off subject but it’s hot in DC now. Average air CO2 is 432 ppm. During the Bicentennial 50 yrs ago, it was 332 ppm. That’s a 30% increase in air CO2 WORLDWIDE in 50 yrs. Human earth heating will remain a big issue until the trajectory finally changes.
@BeschlossDC Off subject but it's hot in DC now. Average air CO2 is 432 ppm. During the Bicentennial 50 yrs ago, it was 332 ppm. That's a 30% increase in air CO2 WORLDWIDE in 50 yrs, with no signs of slowing down. That will remain a big issue until the trajectory changes.
@mzjacobson Great way to celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday! We should have been doing this at the Bicentennial 50 yrs ago but better late than never. 💨 💧 ☀️ 🪫 🇺🇸
@BeschlossDC I had a Dual turntable, Marantz receiver, and Jensen speakers. And “Frampton Comes Alive” was in the air (and on my stereo). Rock on! 🎸 🇺🇸
@costareports “Leaving Texas, Fourth Day of July,
Sun’s so hot, the clouds are low,
The eagles fill the sky”
RIP Bobby! ☁️ 🦅 🎶 🇺🇸
