The UK has a slightly unusual medical workforce plan, consisting of training large volumes of medical graduates and exporting them for free to other English speaking countries, whilst actively recruiting doctors from developing nations.
There must be a more efficient method 🤔

Are you as the regulator saying that #PhysicianAssociates are 'lesser trained doctors'?

I am formally asking for this vote to be re-run.
People wonder why they can’t get a GP appointment? One of the reasons is the work that is being passed to GP from the hospital. Just this morning I’ve had to deal with numerous cases of patients who are under the specialist but are told to come to the GP to sort (things that are related to the specialist issue). This is getting beyond ridiculous now.

The #CaudaEquina infographic is 4 years old later this month. It’s had 438k views, and we know it has saved at least half a dozen patient arses and at least the same number of clinicians’! Can we get it to half a million views in the next 3 weeks, #MedTwitter?
@ShaunLintern @thesalariedGP It is an option to ask for a reply via a text but due to workload they probably don’t have time. But agree this would be better.
GPs role isn’t taking a complete Specialism history, its taking a thorough General history, appropriate examination+investigations .if needed refer to a Specialist for their assessment. We do our best, if we refer for an opinion please understand we’ve reached our clinical limit
