I wrote a story for Democratic Left that's a combination:
1) reflection piece of my day-to-day life as a poor undocumented immigrant
2) very light political theory and
3) "DSA Must..." soliloquy (but not too much I swear)

On this day in 1962, US President John F. Kennedy first implemented the US embargo against Cuba, significantly expanding measures put in place by his predecessor.
A ceasefire in Gaza has finally been announced, but we must remain clear-eyed: this does not mean the struggle is over. DSA will continue to fight for the end of apartheid, for a free Palestine from the river to the sea and for an end to US imperialism. Read our full statement: https://t.co/LHyetJbIxM
We thank the efforts of people around the world, including US citizens and organizations that contributed and mobilized for the removal of #Cuba from the terrorist list.
Once again, justice triumphed.
The Biden admin has taken the long overdue step of removing Cuba from the State Sponsors of Terror list. Congratulations & thank you to @dsa_cuba organizers and our friends @AllianceForCuba@LAWGaction, @NNOCuba, & everyone who helped make the case for Cuba at home & in Congress!🇨🇺🌹
The doctor in the last hospital in Northern Gaza.
Walking to the Israeli tanks which have bombarded and set ablaze his hospital. He faces this evil with more courage than I will ever know.

UVA announced that grad workers will start making 36k, calling grads the "lifeblood" of the institution.
Meanwhile, no sign of the 9 staff hires Provost Baucom promised over the summer, to fix the understaffing at the root of grad payment problems.

Yesterday, Hundreds of thousands of people marched in Havana VS the Blockade and the SSOT List designation. It was a clear display of strength by the Revolution, reflecting the support of its people.
No mainstream media outlet accredited in Havana bothered to cover the march.
For @jacobin, I wrote about Nicolás Medina Mora’s ‘América de Norte,’ a mid book made possible by bad people, and why we shouldn’t have been subjected to the Great Whitexican Novel in the first place

Luigi Mangione has no political analysis, coherent political beliefs, or a theory of change. He was motivated by the pain, frustration, and fear ubiquitous across the United States.
