@JonesSidewinder@HeathMayo As well as the judges appointed by Trump, right? Occam’s Razor my friend. If there was legitimate evidence the Trump lawsuits would have been all over it. To claim all prosecutors were paid for is wild. Hope you are as skeptical with the Epstein files.
@JonesSidewinder@HeathMayo It is. If prosecutors had evidence of election fraud they would have prosecuted them. There was no evidence. Trumps team filed the lawsuits hoping they could find evidence. That’s not how it works.
@JonesSidewinder@HeathMayo The difference is that in your analogy a person is being charged with a crime and so the only option is to defend themselves. In contrast, they chose to file frivolous lawsuits without any evidence.
@johnmaddox@DrJesseMorse@WallStreetApes If you don’t qualify for subsidies you can get catastrophic insurance while being over 30. New rule established late last year. Considered a hardship. They are cheaper then bronze plans but are more expensive than before because of the minimum coverage they have to provide
@Zeb_Z@edgar_training@flowidealism By saying they dont progress to their potential you are concluding they join the bottom 50%. Why cant the top % at 3rd grade remain the top % at 12th grade?
@DevilDodger78@maklelan If that is true then I am curious why it took 1800 years to abolish slavery. Saying it has always been doctrine but most Christians just got it wrong for hundreds of years sounds like progressivism is what actually made it doctrine.
@wordy_fiend@maklelan I’m not sure you know what your points are. Go ahead and leave one more nonsensical post so you can get the last word and feel good about yourself.
@wordy_fiend@maklelan Sounds like you agree with me that the Bible condones chattel slavery. Awesome!
You equating slavery with divorce? Not awesome!
Asking why owning people is wrong? Really not awesome! (Psssst, it’s wrong for the person being owned. Something something love thy neighbor)
@DevilDodger78@maklelan It appears we have different definitions for Progressive Christianity. If Christians go against the status quo of what Christians had historically believed (that chattel slavery was permitted), then that fits my definition of Progressive Christianity.
@wordy_fiend@maklelan 1. Condoning doesn’t require it to be virtuous and wonderful. It’s never outright prohibited.
2. Yes and both kinds of slavery (chattel and debt) are present and condoned in the Bible, especially chattel slavery for foreigners.
