"I'd die for my family"
Okay. Would you lift 3x a week, eat a nutrient dense diet, fix your sleep habits, walk 10k steps and stop drinking so much alcohol for them?
Your most expensive mistake won't be what you choose to do, but who you choose to do it with.
You must be able to spot the traits of the best.
7 red flags youโll never find in A-players:
You want easy?
Everyone wants easy.
โข Fast money.
โข Effortless learning.
โข Quick six pack.
If it was easy, everyone would have it. And then it wouldnโt be valuable.
Itโs supposed to be hard.
@Jason Drivers are given 8 hours to deliver 100+ packages. Most go over. Current pay is $40 something. Once they go over 8 hours by 1 minute, every minute they spend clocked in is double pay. Most drivers do 11-12 hours a day. Hitting 12 hours means you essentially did 16 hours.
If you have less than $100,000 to your name (and would like to):
1) Stop eating out. Discount groceries only.
2) Stop buying new clothes. Goodwill only.
3) Only attend free friend events. If they donโt support your goals. Theyโre not your friends.
4) Take the rest of your time to:
a) apply for jobs that make more
b) pick up side hustle work
c) learn skills you can trade for a higher hourly rate
5) Find the hardest worker in the room, and 2x their level of input.
Then wait 36 months.
Decrease out flow.
Increase in flow.
Accept sacrifice as a price tag for the thing you want most.
Suffering for 36 months to get a financial foothold is way better than spending 36 years trying to turn a corner that never comes.
The fastest way to kill your spouses dreams is to tell them all the reasons itโs not gonna work.
As though they didnโt already know that.
They come to you to be the one person to tell them you believe they can make it work.
