The new Golden Axe animated series is getting a lot of backlash after the first trailer.

The original Golden Axe games had a serious sword-and-sorcery style, but the new show turns the characters into an “adult comedy” and cringe dialogue.

Fans feel it looks like another generic adult animated streaming show instead of a proper Golden Axe adaptation and the humor doesn’t fit the world or characters.
