.@Pedalpalooza is a source of so much love in Portland. Let’s use the energy all year round to transform our city into the world-class bicycling city it ought to be.
Groups of costumed bike riders have taken to Portland streets once again, dressed up as super heroes, ninja turtles, penguins, hippies or wearing … nothing at all.

We're joining our pals at @OregonWalks in endorsing a YES vote on Measure 26-228 for @portland_charter - check out the op-ed in @BikePortland written by outgoing Oregon Walks ED Ashton Simpson explaining charter reform's good for transportation advocacy: https://t.co/0t4z7xMc9J
Bummed that this sign is out front at OMSI. Unfortunately we see drivers exceeding the speed limit by 100% all the time. 20mph limit and drivers are zooming at 35-40 all the way to Splendid Cycles. What could the traffic engineer do to slow these cars? @PBOTinfo

Diverters, diverters, diverters! Kudos to @PBOTinfo (& Greenways coordinator, Scott Cohen) for siding with safety for ALL on this one. Now let's make frequent diverters standard design for Greenways. https://t.co/v5qhXKPFtk
I just had a driver pull up to me at the bike racks in front of the grocery store and tell me that I need brighter lights and a taller flag because they couldn't see me. 😑 I'm wearing an orange shirt and riding a giant orange and blue box bike. Brighter lights, it's noon!
Lots of tweets today about why women do not bike for everyday transportation as often as men.
Here's one reason. These #!* hooks on rail assume people who bike have upper body strength. I'm an old lady with mobility challenges and a heavy e-bike. Make transit accessible for all!
Enrolled the kid in a summer camp. Drop off/pick up is going to be worse than school! I'm really not looking forward to this. 😑

More housing, closer together, and at lower prices is imperative if we want to reach our cycling goals in Portland.
Essential work from housing advocates and ever-readable @andersem! 🙏
Whoa @pedalpalooza in Beaverton!
It was so awesome to ride on the West Side with @NLangenwalter @tinaintheburbs @kevinteater @enobacon and so many other friends who I don't know your Twitter handles! (Please say hi in this thread!) Let's do it again! How about a Tigard ride? 🚲
