We made an honest mistake yesterday and we are sincerely sorry for that.
When we welcomed the Watt family to America First Field, we should have recognized Kealia Watt for exactly who she is.
Kealia is a Utah native and one of the most decorated players to ever come out of this state. Kealia won four state championships with her club and four more in high school, and was a two-time Utah Gatorade Athlete of the Year. She was a U.S. youth national teamer at 13. At the U-20 level, she scored the game-winning goal in the World Cup final.
She started four years at North Carolina, won a national title with the Tar Heels, then went No. 2 overall in the NWSL draft to the Houston Dash, and was the franchise’s first-ever college pick. She then became their captain with 114 appearances and 28 goals. Kealia finished her career with the Chicago Stars (then known as the Red Stars) and is now a soccer analyst for Amazon Prime Video.
@KealiaOhai, @JJWatt — we are deeply sorry. Thank you for all you do for the sport.
Ossoff: "Here's what's going to happen tonight: the world's most famous sore loser will deliver a prime-time presidential sour grapes address to pursue his 6-year-old grievances about the 2020 election, while his war in the Middle East spirals out of control and the cost of living continues to rise for Americans across the country. I expect the president to reheat debunked conspiracy theories about the repeatedly litigated and audited and confirmed 2020 presidential election in Georgia, an election that Donald Trump lost. And let me be very clear about this: if the President declares Georgia's election illegitimate, or if the President declares Georgia's sitting United States Senators illegitimate, he is declaring Georgia voters illegitimate. It's Donald Trump who tried to defraud Georgia voters in that election, Donald Trump who tried to commit election fraud when he called Georgia's Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger -- and it was caught on tape, and you should play the tape to your viewers today -- and badgered and bullied Georgia's top election official to 'find him' the votes that he needed to win in a state where he had lost."
WaPo: Reflecting Pool peeling likely caused by application flaws, experts say
The lining of the Lincoln Memorial’s Reflecting Pool peeled away in at least seven places along seams that were created when the material was applied in large rectangular sections, indicating likely problems in how it was installed, according to a Washington Post analysis of visuals and interviews with experts.

I can't breathe the air, I can't eat lettuce, I can't afford gas, and my kids have measles. But at least now our soldiers will have enough testosterone.
Check out this amazing project of the @USNatArchives
which has enlisted "citizen archivists" to help read and transcribe around 2.5 million pages of handwritten cursive documents from soldiers of the Revolutionary War. Amazing historical account, and they're still looking for volunteers!
NEW: Senate candidate Mike Collins’ son-in-law—featured in campaign photos, registered to vote at a Collins-owned property, and appearing at his victory party—is a white nationalist influencer who has promoted Nazi imagery and called for “clearing our land of other people.”
Sen. @DickDurbin: Trump, his family, and his businesses, because of the document signed by Todd Blanche, have no liability for any tax crimes they ever committed. No criminal liability. Every one of us in this room has to obey the law. Now there's an exception, of course, the President of the United States.
Sen. @DickDurbin: I kind of understood going into public life that if you wanted to get rich, this was the wrong job. How did Trump do in his 2nd term? $1.4 billion to his income from cryptocurrency. Mr. Blanche changed the federal regulation of cryptocurrency. To generate a $1.4 billion windfall for the president and money for the acting Attorney General is just plain wrong.
It is a carnival of corruption. Congressional stock trading. First Family crypto schemes. A secondhand jumbo jet.
These are not academic concerns. They hurt all of us - and they are related to the reasons we can't have common-sense outcomes that most Americans actually agree on.
A lot of us know people - good people - who may have believed the promises they were told about "draining the swamp" or "no new wars."
Now is the time to reach out to them. Not to say, "I told you so," but to say, "He doesn't deserve you."
And to ask them to team up and help change America for the better. Together.
NEW: Wisconsin election officials refer 2 complaints against Elon Musk to Brown County DA over involvement in 2025 state Supreme Court election, finding probable cause he violated election bribery law https://t.co/fQT6Zq0zoG
He's been complaining about an election he lost for over half a decade. Meanwhile, your life is not any easier. What good is Trump? When he's not sleeping he's stealing, when he's not stealing he's breaking things or throwing your tax dollars away on a war or home renovations.
MAGA:
2016 was fair! (Obama was President)
2020 was rigged! (Trump was President)
2024 was fair! (Biden was President)
They’re going to rig 2026! (Trump is President)
Why is Donald Trump so fucking bad at securing elections according to MAGA?
Robbie Kaplan, Carroll’s lead lawyer, gave this statement to MS NOW: “Three years ago, a unanimous nine-person jury found President Trump liable for sexually assaulting and defaming E. Jean Carroll. Today, we are pleased to report that she has received the damages payment the jury awarded her as a result of that verdict.”
🚨BREAKING: The drained Reflecting Pool did not reveal any slices. Instead, tire marks were visible, obvious damage from Trump’s vanity drive in a fleet of 10-ton vehicles for no reason at all. He ruined his own project, then lied and blamed the citizens who paid for it.
Grocery prices are high.
Gas prices are high.
Utility prices are high.
What are trump and Republicans focused on? Putting trump’s name and signature on as many things as possible.
November is coming.
The Senate cannot authorize an unprecedented $1.14 trillion in defense spending for Trump to continue his disastrous war at the expense of the American people.
I will vote no on the NDAA unless my amendment to end this illegal war is included.
Enough is enough.
In the past week alone ICE has shot and killed two more people.
Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Joan Sebastian Guerrero.
Republicans just keep giving more and more funding to this rogue agency. What we need is to stop this violence.
Enough is enough.
