Pirlo ha deciso in questi anni di mettere il proprio nome, la propria immagine e il proprio prestigio al servizio di un’operazione commerciale inserita nella strategia di propaganda e di guerra ibrida del regime russo.

Lo faceva anche nelle ore dei peggiori bombardamenti russi, non ascoltando nemmeno Andriy Shevchenko, suo amico ed ex compagno di squadra.

Chi guida la Nazionale non rappresenta soltanto una squadra di calcio: rappresenta l’Italia. Dopo una scelta del genere, Pirlo si è reso inadeguato a ricoprire quel ruolo. La decisione di non nominarlo commissario tecnico è quindi giusta e doverosa.
