This really depends on the oz project and returns. Not all oz investments are successful. For most it’s better to put money in S&P and compound for 30 years (up 3,500% in 30 years). More liquidity and diversification. Get upside to tech and companies that are changing the world. Oz investments are too concentrated and only worth it for a small minority of investors imo.
The problem is Dallas is a very boring city. Most of the year the heat is unbearable and there is little to nothing to do outdoors. Mainly just bars and a few good restaurants. On top of that Dallas is already getting expensive. I’d rather pay the taxes and be in manhattan beach or nyc. Why get rich if you have to live in Dallas? Much better to pay the taxes and live in NY, Miami, or many parts of California.
Seriously need a custom EMR with AI built in. We get hundreds of messages, med requests, cancellations, and reschedules daily that should be automated. Who’s building this? Would love to pilot. Tebra & Athena aren’t cutting it.
@unusual_whales This is good bc pretty soon coworkers will be replaced by AI. Then all of them will be replaced By AI. We will see how much employees like AI when it takes their job
Entrepreneurship is like one of those carnival games where you throw darts or something.
Middle class kids can afford one throw.
Most miss. A few hit the target and get a small prize. A very few hit the center bullseye and get a bigger prize. Rags to riches! The American Dream lives on.
Rich kids can afford many throws. If they want to, they can try over and over and over again until they hit something and feel good about themselves. Some keep going until they hit the center bullseye, then they give speeches or write blog posts about "meritocracy" and the salutary effects of hard work.
Poor kids aren't visiting the carnival.
They're the ones working it.
We have officially stopped seeing tri-care patients in all 5 of our tricare west region locations. Non payment has been a huge issue.
Feel bad for this patient population but we no longer can treat patients and receive denials for routine services.
@TRICARE
Walgreens pharmacy just denied a Adderall script from one of our north Texas MDs to a patient in Austin. They said schedule II controlled substances need a local MD to prescribe….what are telehealth companies like @Talkiatry going to do? Do they even do in-person appts.
