"The fact that Ararat is not only itself a volcano but the center of a vast volcanic district in the Armenian highland explains the ease with which Israel recognized the voice of Yahweh, whose name and nature must have come down to them out of the mists of a primeval past."

"In Hebrew, as in Babylonian and Assyrian mythology, the dwelling of God was in the great, mysterious mountain masses to the north, in Armenia, where the Ark rested; whence the forefathers came.
There was the garden of delight (Eden), the garden of God, and there beneath those mountains the vast deep from which poured out the great rivers to water the earth."

«There was no limit to the swelling pride of the kings and the people of Babylon. Not content to rule over a great and rich realm (which was a gift as well as an assignment from God), they set their hearts on an even higher goal.
'I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne so that I am higher than God's stars in the heaven. I will ascend above the clouds in the sky. I will take my place among the dwelling place of the gods who dwell high on the mountaintops in the north [the mountains of Ararat, the ultimate of high places].'
Not content to rule under God, the kings want to take up their abode in the cloudy mountains where they will be treated by Marduk and his compatriots as their equal, and ultimately reach this goal, 'I will be like the most High.'»

Indeed, the Tower of Babel was an imitative mockery of Ararat, insinuated by the false illusions of the degenerate deserts, desperate to claim the light Ararat for their own.

Getting real tired of the whining in the “Armenian” sphere of xitter. Nothing genuine and nobody to talk to. It’s just ‘oppositionists’ and retarded activists trying to lobby on a platform where the active Armenian population is in the lower double digits. If theres anyone sentient on here, please reach out.
«And the ark is said finally to have rested on the mountains of Ararat, which implies an elevated state of light and love.
Various states of fluctuation and change in the regeneration are also signified by sending forth first a raven and then a dove to see if the waters were abated.
And complete regeneration and liberty are denoted by going forth and building an altar to sacrifice to the Lord.»

«That Noah, the ark, and the flood were altogether typical of this great regenerating change, is also evident from what the apostle Peter says of them in the third chapter of his first Epistle, second verse, as "being the like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), by the resurrection of Jesus Christ."
For what does the sacrament of baptism mean but to present to us a sign of purification from all sinfulness by divine truth, and thus salvation from "the floods of ungodliness" and iniquity?
Hereby is attained a state of spiritual rest from temptation, affliction, and sorrow, and of divine consolation and peace, when the ark rests safely on the mountains of Ararat, - the mountains of love and light, as the name imports.»

@AugustinEnjoyer@CCyrillian On the contrary, they didn't identify as Armenian, for pretty much most of the history until enlightenment derived secularism, and later Soviet policies enforced the separation of nation/religion.
There are examples of Cath. converting to our Church & identifying simply as Arm.
