@Curi_Christian@sola_chad Those who argue against PSA have to do this thing like you just did where “it doesn’t say that” but they still don’t offer a viable explanation of what it does mean and Jesus being an offering still at the very least heavily implies PSA
@ProvisionistP@JohnAthos@ronhenzel I’m fine taking you at your word about what you meant. But it certainly came across a certain way. I honestly don’t even care I’d rather you explain your position on Romans 9 haha
@deli_cue@ProvisionistP@OwnYourWrldview Right. He’s dealing with the question of their salvation. Which could be viewed as part of the covenant blessing but it’s not asking the question of whether Esau or Isaac were elected to service. That has nothing to do with the passage.
@ProvisionistP@OwnYourWrldview Paul talks about in verse 5 the blessings of them being the covenant people but in 6-13 he’s not talking about that at all.
@ProvisionistP@OwnYourWrldview Romans 9 itself is about the salvation of the Jewish people. Paul is defending whether the word of God has failed. You can’t import every aspect of the Malachi passage to Romans 9 when Paul is clearly trying to argue for a specific thing.
@AustinRBechtold It’s not as simple as Carmen is better than bubba so keep Carmen. You have to weigh how much better he is with what do you then do with bubba etc.
@Veno202@BloopAndABlast@MoonCake3441 That’s what these people who are against the cap don’t get…there’s not even a consistent market in the MLB like there is other sports for players because you can just write a blank check to whoever you want if you’re the Dodgers.
