On Memorial Day, we honor our nation's fallen soldiers—including 5,000 DC residents who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Their service is a reminder that DC residents fight and die for this nation, yet still lack full representation in the democracy they defend.
We recognize our fallen soldiers today, and we continue to push for a more perfect democracy.
In observance of Memorial Day, DC Government services and office hours will be modified today.

Here's how that impacts residents:
1. Effective tonight, 5/22, all youth under the age of 18 are subject to a 11PM citywide curfew.
2. Designated zones will be subject to an 8PM curfew as determined by the Chief of Police.
3. The curfew will extend through 6/6.
