This initiative tackles the paramedic shortage while expanding access to quality healthcare training.
Our brand-new partnership with @dcfireems and @udc_edu creates a direct pathway to careers in paramedicine for people who know DC.
The program will help to address the national paramedic shortage while expanding access to high-quality healthcare training for DC residents.

Always inspired by these ceremonies! In DC, “Recruits” enter our local department with prior workforce, education, and life experiences. Welcome to the watch!! @dcpscte@NAEMT_@actecareertech@NAEMSEpgh@FSRI_org
Thanks to our major partners @dcfireems for hosting our EMR Class and @EasternHMSA underclassmen today!! They practiced medical assessment and learned about careers in our local fire department. #EMSWeek2024
It’s #EMSWEEK2024 EMS for Children Day. @BallouDC & @EasternHS students are at the EMS simulation center. Some are attending a babysitting safety class & others are learning what it takes to become an EMS professional. They are our future & we hope to inspire them. #DCsBravest
