@enjoywithouthey@mrwagmibtc Exactly. To be honest, it's all good.
@ArkadikoFinance supported and donated a lot to the $WELSH community. Including MEXC liquidity. Was checking discords and they were transparent all the time.
fading $welsh is forgetting where things started.
the one true meme of @stacks that started it all.
no secret stacks insiders, no shady cabal.
this dog is the real deal. first truely distributed memecoin on #bitcoin.
position accordingly

@hardmon79758548 The article was long enough!
STX is interesting, as it is novel; it does not take any of the approaches I covered
Well, I did mention it, as this falls under the "separate consensus" category
The downside is that the security trade-offs are wildly different to BTC's security!
The stock market is crashing! Trump has ruined everything! This is the end!
Or…to quote the great Dave Chapelle: “…and hear me out when I say this…you could shut the fuck up.”
The stock market has simply rung out Biden’s last gasp of free money before he lost the election. We are back to where we were a year ago.

I built a wallet app that sends sBTC using bitcoin addresses instead of Stacks addresses.
That's layer 2 sats sent from bitcoin address to bitcoin address in seconds for < $0.01 via the Stacks network:
✅Standard bitcoin addresses
✅Standard sign and broadcast semantics
✅Confirmation in seconds
✅Low fees
✅Self-custody
✅Bitcoin finality
While this wallet is a prototype that works only with native Segwit addresses and requires @xverse or @LeatherBTC for transaction signing, Bitcoin addresses for sBTC (or all Stacks assets) could be adopted natively by any wallets. It doesn't require any changes to the Stacks core network.
This address scheme could even be expanded so that fast, easy and cheap layer 2 BTC transactions could also work with legacy addresses.
Here's how it works: Bitcoin legacy and native segwit addresses along with Stacks addresses all encode the so-called "hash160" of the user's public key. This means we can convert these two types of bitcoin addresses into a Stacks address and any Stacks address into either a legacy or native segwit bitcoin address.
Using bitcoin addresses instead of Stacks addresses allows us to reuse many of the payment standards and QR code formats that have already been developed for bitcoin. It makes sBTC a true layer 2 bitcoin.
I believe there was an earlier transfer done during testing but nevertheless its really a big moment in @x and crypto history.
You will soon be able to also transfer BTC via sBTC to anyone* on twitter which is a gamechanger.
*with a .btc @one_bns domain
Operation $DOG has started and it’s already live on @Stacks !
You can swap to $DOG on @bitflow and earn up to 445% apy right now with rewards in sBTC !
Txs take seconds and cost $0.001c.
