One of my plans for 2022 is to design a VR platform for virtual music festivals (especially electronic music). Today I just found some brilliant designers had made it in VR Chat, called VOLT Nightclub.
@GamificationGG A very interesting study that can inspire game designers! I wonder if it is possible to know the player types based on the game itself (types, gameplay). Because most of the designers cannot do the HEXAD to portray their potential players.
@GamificationGG@danielfgaleote@VirtualEconomy Can't believe credibility is one of the "underrepresented engagement modes". People always care "who says" more than "say what", especially for educational and persuasive messages.
This is so amazing! But I'm a little bit worried about the gameplay as there are too many "actions" in-game that need a redesign for the VR device, to keep the balance between authenticity and operating difficulty.
@GamificationGG@LaatoSamuli@VirtualEconomy If game designers want to make use of the cameras in AR games, maybe they should give the cameras more functions for the game mechanics. eg: extra damages if u point your cam at the enemy. Players need more motivation to open their cams.
