@FezVrasta@fatmap Hey! Let me steal the conversation for a moment please. A PeakVisor guy here. The transition between two modes isn't a simple one. The data one needs to identify peaks a hundred kilometres away is very much different than those required for nice 3D maps and awesome navigation.
Don't underestimate the power of @PeakVisor_app when geolocating around mountainous areas! Great work from @BenDoBrown finding the exact spot where what seems to be a C-130 crashed in #Tigray.
@videojournalist@PeakVisor_app Hey Robb, Iceland is amazing! Have you tried the satellite layer view in the 3D maps? (the top right button switches the layers)
#Mojo tip for filming in Iceland. Bring a good map with you. One that can orient you to the right volcanos, glaciers and waterfalls. This is @PeakVisor_app - one of the ones I show in my book: “Mobile Journalism.”
@dens@sacca@PeakVisor_app Hey Dennis, I'm a founder of @PeakVisor_app . Any feedback is very welcome. Or should you like to talk about "all things mountain" - I will be more than happy to :-) Have a great day!
Today was a day I should've spend messing around with my bridge camera instead of leading groups. An unusual view of Slovenia's highest mountain, Triglav (2864), from 76km to the SSW (Isonzo Rivermouth). (Triglav = 3 heads).

@utfisher Hey Chris, one of the PeakVisor devs on the line :) This is the very first version of the flyover (available for all the objects on the map, including all the trails: imported GPX, created in the app, tracked, etc). There are several bugs but the nastiest will be fixed this week.
@PaulHRosenberg@PeakVisor_app 418 turns that's a lot! The Great Saint Bernard pass where Napolean crossed the Alps and reached Italy has less :-) But I guess the road is a feat in itself. By the way, you can use PeakVisor on your phone (it is even more powerful than the website).
