@RepThomasMassie Israel has a right to defend itself. They bent over backwards to minimize civilian harm more than any other country would have, possible largely thanks to American precision weapons. Many countries would happily sell them imprecise bombs & more civilians will die
@politico The democratic party needs to drop this guy before its too late. even if he does somehow win, which seems unlikely, stuff will keep coming out about him once he is in office and he will keep doing bad stuff. where there is smoke there is fire
@RollingStone he has a better chance than the machine politicians running LA into the ground. LA is substantially worse off than it was when Karen Bass took over
@ian_dot_so I work at a startup with ~40 engineers and it seems split 75-25 in favor of anthropic right now but some people swear by Codex. We turn every CLAUDE.md into an AGENTS.md to making switch seamless
@levie 100% agree. the people making these prophecies don't work with AI every day. Its incredible but its not a silver bullet. the industries shedding jobs like gaming were in a downturn anyway
@GovPressOffice Trump turning the White House into a fighting venue is most demeaning thing to happen to it since the British burned it down in the war of 1812
@TomSteyer can you please tell us how you will fix (1) the broken and corrupt governance in this state (2) the horrible cost of living? tweets like this are clickbait. talk about real issues, tell us how someone with no experience in government will finally make it work
in a sea of online posts, dms, emails, and notifications
IRL is becoming the biggest differentiator
and it's only the beginning of how important it will be
@DavidSacks America is stuck between a few extremes
1. AI takes all the jobs
2. AI kills everyone
3. Everyone should be token maxing all the time or risk unemployment
These are all such extreme takes while also not that serious. Other countries seem to have a more balanced view and policy
@cptdankkk Meta is kinda on the same path too. But I think there's a serious opportunity for them to create an American Deep Seek - an open source, near-frontier-level intelligence model that is smaller, faster, cheaper and can be post-trained
@PalmerLuckey@AI_EmeraldApple I agree in principle but can that ever be done in a cost effective way? perhaps a better approach is to cut China out of the supply chain and near-shore
