As I expected, my next pay rise looks like being when the minimum wage increases next April, with an extra 50p per hour coming my way, as I’m currently just 9p above it, for driving a bus responsible for up to 70 ish people.

But I don’t complain.

Going up north to see my parents in the next school holiday week.

3 nights Travelodge in Sunderland for £104. I’m happy with that.

From there it’s easy and cheap to commute to where they live in Billingham.

Just train travel still to book.

I’m guessing it’s a scam that I’ve received a text from Hermes which directs me to what looks like a genuine Hermes website, where it tells me they tried to deliver a package at 04.30am, but when I refresh the page that time changes.

I’m waiting for a package but from DPD.

@paz565 @_TimSmith_ @MikeLiggins If I’m trying to get my bus that is slow to pull away from a roundabout, especially with today’s fast cars, & I see a driver like you indicating right, I’m likely to stay there. By the time you start indicating left as you exit the roundabout, it’s likely too late for me to go.

@paz565 @_TimSmith_ @MikeLiggins No it’s wrong about signaling right to go straight ahead. Drivers approaching from the left know you’re intentions because you’re not signalling right or left. It’s very unhelpful driving big slow vehicles as I do, when drivers don’t indicate properly or at all at roundabouts.
