One of my food heroes, Chef Michel Roux, born in my native Burgundy, has died aged 78. He and his brother Albert revolutionised the UK restaurant scene, and were the first to achieve three Michelin stars in Britain. RIP Chef.

Caught up with a friend last night in buzzing Borough Market. Got a table at Elliot’s Cafe. The food was an unexpected delight. Wild rabbit, figs, pickled girolles & cavalo nero; pigs ear cake, ham hock & fried egg; pork meatballs with polenta & salsa fresca. Worth a detour!

After 27 years and a few months of administrative procedures and red tape ... I attended my citizenship ceremony on Tuesday and I am finally a Brit! 🇬🇧 A general election is looming ... let’s put this to the test 👍😀

3 weeks ago the love of my life, officially became my husband on our 25th anniversary. The event was made extra special as we were able to have most of our families and friends coming to London and share this beautiful day with us. So much emotion. So much love. I am blessed.
