@Zepp1978 I literally have every book I own or want to read in a spreadsheet, and it's sorted by Word count. It lets me compare book lengths to other books I've read so I get a better feel for how long it is. I mood read and sometimes I don't want to commit to longer books or series.

@Zepp1978 I think 100k-200k is my favorite range to read. The closer to 100k words books are in a series that I enjoy almost guarantees I’ll read the series straight through without pallet cleansers.

@Zepp1978 Oooh, that makes sense. Yeah, no average person is going to those. I’m sure the sphere crazy upcharges the tickets just like other venues & Ticketmaster do. I think lower level at th CLT show were $150 and final cost was around $230. Makes me sick knowing what tickets used to be.

@PreacherReads From late middle school-high school I hated reading for several of the factors you mentioned. I was also a slower reader so “having” to read instead of reading at an enjoyable pace really ruined it for me. It wasn’t until Covid that I went to the library to read for fun again.
