Dear Prime Minister Albanese

My submission regarding your attack on Free Speech via your Misinformation bill.

Let's visualize a young man dying on the blood strewn fields of some long forgotten battle.

An Anzac Solider, who left the vast skies of the bush to answer his government's call for men to do their duty and defend our freedom.

Because of the nature of his injury, he has time to die, but because of his location, he is beyond rescue, and he knows it, so he spends this time pondering, despite the pain, as to why life bothered filling him with goals and dreams and a yearning to love and be loved.

His only solace, perhaps, is the belief that his sacrifice migh, in some way, protect the freedoms of Australians whom he will never meet.

Australians of all different races, who will live in a faster world, that he simply could not conceive from this patch of mud, which was draining the last his warmth from his fading veins.

Even if we can’t conceive this, since we don’t have his dying selfie, you know it happened, and out of respect and gratitude to him, and all those like him, we erected shrines in every town and suburb.
Monuments to guarantee his final praye and the hope of all these lost soldiers would be forever hear in one combined warning:

“Lest We Forget”.

Now imagine this young man squinting u with you, Prime Minister Albanes, standing above him.

You are wearing your rainbow flag. Your aides are scanning the scene, checking for media opportunities, as your police, in their new, black storm trooper uniforms, are keeping the protesters at bay with their pepper spray and raised, rubber bullet guns, as you wait for Minister Michelle Rowland to pull up her kickers up, after urinating on this soldiers face, and before you too take out your tackle and proceed to piss onto the dying face of this Anzac soldier, you lisp,

“Freedom has nothing to do with i, mate.
This is about keeping Australians safe.”
