@KIROCharlie Mayor Wilson seems like a very nice person and that is a serious problem. In her world, there are no people with very bad intentions looking for easy marks and soft targets. We really don't need to take proper precautions because nothing will go wrong.

Yep. Written back in 1944 by Theodore Sturgeon.

WWII construction gang building an airstrip on a remote Pacific island. Their 'dozer is a Caterpillar D7 which one of the Latino crewmembers had nicknamed "Daisy Etta" (de siete). "Daisy" essentially gets possessed by a malevolent alien lifeform and proceeds to cause some gruesomely fatal workplace accidents.

I've essentially trained myself to fall asleep fairly quickly by following a pattern.

My evening ritual is about reducing stimuli: television off by 10:00pm, bedroom is completely dark, phone on sleep and dark mode, read articles or a book on Kindle for an hour or so, then shut everything down and settle in to sleep.

Your mileage may vary.

@GaMovics @FilmUpdates Perfectly cast as Magik and yes, Fox and director John Boone took a series written by comics legend Chris Claremont and produced an absolute mess. It takes a peculiar talent to be given what is essentially a ready-made script and storyboards and still manage to screw it up.
