@DrChadKrueger @DrLeeRubin @jaimelbellamyDO @Dr_Stambough @jointdocShields I did in few #DAA cases, mostly in severe metaphyseal diaphyseal mismatch. I use the ball tip guide wire and ream over it with synthesis reamers ( from the trauma set). I think it was helpful while broaching and i was able to upsize my fem stem without the risk of perf.

@InvictaOrtho True and I guess the decision will be based on the individual cases and family. On the other hand, exposing the OR team and ourselves to do ORIF that has high possibility of poor prognosis should be also considered. Tough choices !!
