The latest from @inflectionptswk is a certified @db_econ and @hillfolkAU banger:
Against 'Affordable' Housing—how we're wasting billions on poorly targeted subsidies.
Another front page for @inflectionptswk, care of @db_econ & @hillfolkAU, this time in @theage.
Affordable housing is a waste of billions. Our nation should do so much better.
You've almost certainly heard politicians announcing 'affordable housing'. If you don't dig too far, it sounds nice: cheap rent for people on moderate incomes.
@hillfolkAU and I aren't convinced. In fact, we're Against 'Affordable' Housing. Read why:

Is there any way for a State Government to mandate that local governments deliver cycling infrastructure of a certain standard (i.e. full separation) on local roads?
@HerschelLandes1 I can't imagine that the average person driving to the Gleadell Street market is doing it that tough. I'm sure there is a better way to help those struggling financially then cheaper on-street parking in an area with some of the best public transport connections in the city.
Tonight, @CityofMaroondah will be voting on Heritage Overlay C148—one that has already devastated the lives of families across the Council area.
Today, @abcnews has covered the story of two affected families.
@doclangers "Before and after data show enforced helmet laws discourage cycling but produce no obvious response in percentage of head injuries."
"Governments should focus on factors such as speeding, drink-driving, failure to obey road rules, poor road design"

@azalofficial it has been 4 days since you lost my partner's bag on flight J2 22 from Tel Aviv to Baku. We've reached out to your customer service team multiple times but haven't received any response. Can you please assist us with this urgent matter?
#VicPol block a bike lane for 20 minutes fine a food delivery rider $230 for not having his helmet done up correctly. It is time for a serious rethink of #roadsafety and #cycling laws in #Victoria.
The Department of Transport's is seeking feedback on it's pop-up bike lanes and you can have your say by completing a short online survey.

@AlexaDelbosc I have calculated that as a 20-29 year old, the risk of being hospitalised from a dose of AstraZeneca is about the same as getting in a car and driving 100km on Australian roads (i.e. ~1 in 100,000 chance of hospitalisation).
