@montessus_de "Débonder" is uncommon, but makes sense in context. "Déborder" is commonplace, but can't take a direct object like this and doesn't make semantic sense, either. You can unleash a wellspring, but how would you overflow one?
@montessus_de Interestingly, other than changing a short section about a stepfather to be about a grandfather, he changed the verb "débondent" (unstoppering) to "débordent" (overflowing). This seems to be an error that could only have been introduced by incorrectly transcribing the original.
@homey2024@DOWResponse Because the military provides chaplains and therefore needs to know who needs access to which chaplain, and because the government is obligated to accommodate sincerely-held religious beliefs and therefore needs a baseline to know who needs what accommodations.
@MDOTMTAHolly @MDOTMTAHolly we never closed the loop on this. Is the feature working as intended, or is what I showed you here actually an unintended behavior?
@MDOTMTAHolly I've seen praise for your engagement with the community! Hoping you can answer a question. The newest MARC (Penn) train cars have an electrical outlet at every pair of seats. But those outlets are now disabled. Not unpowered, but physically obstructed inside. Why?
@MDOTMTAHolly I finally had the opportunity to try it out today! The issue does appear to be due to the feature you described, which seemingly does not work as intended. The outlets admit a plug only when the force on the prongs is deliberately and strongly imbalanced.
@AmtrakNECAlerts No! He Ubered home. Conductors did not seem interested in helping the customer get to his destination. They didn't even react as if he were asking coherent questions. I was seated next to his friends, and I have his ticket # if you want to reach out to make this right for him.
@AmtrakNECAlerts I'm riding train 66 from DC, and I'm appalled at how I saw a customer treated tonight. A man was trying to get home to Baltimore (2 stops), and was denied because he didn't have a bike ticket. He immediately offered to buy one, and the conductors were unhelpful.
@lady_valor_07 If you have student loans, and you have the opportunity to put them into forbearance, continue to pay at least the interest on them even if not required to. Because that's when the amount you owe can balloon to twice as much as you ever borrowed.
@WorstToiletInSC@philipaklein Is the reason supposed to be, "You pulled a gun on me"? If so, it's funny how this actually says something completely different.
@Coolness941 I agree the performance was great. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that resemblance. I had heard of Doja Cat before that, but really knew nothing about her. And I was like, "Is Doja Cat Jennifer Tilly doing a bit?"
@MDOTMTAHolly This was in the top level of car 8016. I checked six outlets (three boxes). None allowed me to use a plug in the way I would consider normal. Most yielded to this technique, but one remained impervious.
@MDOTMTAHolly But today I was on the third or fourth car of 427 (10:25 am s/b from Penn), sitting upstairs facing north, right side of the car near the middle.
@MDOTMTAHolly I'm excited to hear that it's unintended. It is not a single car, but almost every outlet on every car of that design, within my experience in the last year or so. I'll be happy to take a photo the next time I ride. It looks like a plastic plate was placed behind the holes.
@mrsallrayada@positionsmafiaa@PopCrave She is also described at one point as "very brown" upon coming home from holiday. So, we know she can go vasovagal and also get a tan. Just like people of literally any skin tone.
@MillieSansoye It's been three days, and I'm still not over it. Been playing the song for anyone here in the US who will listen. We went to a wine festival today and my friend said one was "sweet, sweet." I made them do the call and response.
