@FullOfGraceUS Elon is building his products and selling to whoever wants to buy it. Creating hundreds of thousands of high paying jobs which actually lifts people out of poverty. Your response to that is to hate on him? What have YOU done to help solve any of the problems you’ve mentioned?
@re4mat0r I don’t think you have the brain processing power to understand why the engineering behind this is exciting so you’re indeed correct no one will even bother to give you any explanation.
@AtmPools@NevadaLiberty64@Tesla Poor people? You believe Tesla employees are poor? Do you even know what the median total compensation is for Tesla engineers building these cars?
@antogauc@coredata_labs@anah_sahh The very attempt to patch those flaws by AI itself will create new vulnerabilities leading to even more jobs. That’s always how it goes. AI definitely will eliminate some jobs but it will create far more than it eliminates. Just like any innovation. AI is no exception.
@carlwheless Regardless of personal views, I think we can agree Leavitt’s confidence, eloquence, and ability to quickly formulate sharp responses under pressure is remarkable. Those are rare skills. Becoming the youngest ever White House press secretary makes her rise even more notable.
@thetomjobe@milan_milanovic You’re just proving my original point that coding is mostly solved. “Good programmers write code that humans can understand”. That is correct. If you genuinely believe you can write more readable, organized and maintainable code than an LLM then you’re just lost.
@thetomjobe@milan_milanovic If you noticed I’ve been putting “easiest” in quotes for a reason. I mean easy compared to the rest of the job. I actually don’t believe you’ve ever worked as a Software Engineer on a day to day. Coding being the “easiest” part of the job isn’t even a debate in the software world
@ShawnDevDedalus Honestly people saying this are only rage baiting in search of the x payout because obviously those posts get the most engagements and most debates. I highly doubt they genuinely believe it themselves. This is one of the downsides of paying people for posting.
