@BadParkingLpool Along with the smashed up lamp posts, bollards, railings, traffic lights, fences etc we all pay the bill through our council taxes, whether we drive or not.
Banning #PavementParking could be one way to save a lot of money!💰
@_wearepossible@saferrosendale@cities_clean I haven’t been on twitter for a while and reading these comments reminds me why. Of course most people find change difficult but those who are the least adaptable are the most vocal. Before you comment ask children what they think about massive cars.
@DulwichRoads@CollegeCllrs@DulwichCollege @DulwichPrep Improvement works on Hunts Slip Road are long overdue but it’s great to see the Dulwich Estate finally taking road safety seriously.
👊Some people out there are a force of nature…
And our Deputy Head is one of them. But even forces of nature have to retire eventually!
Mrs. Jary has helped us implement our #SchoolStreet as well as tirelessly pushing for #SaferRoads and encouraging #cycling. She’ll be missed.
@clairemaccy As well as the work done by the community and council the work done by you has benefited us enormously. It was an ambitious #SchoolStreet scheme and you helped us get it over the line.
@PaulChatterton9 Couldn’t agree more. We as a society have slowly dug ourselves into this hole. We could be more neighbourhood focussed and less reliant on individual cars that move just one person from A to B and back again.
@GavinMo57088935@CitizenUddin I have a lot more where that came from Gavin. We’d love you to stay so we can have a full indepth chat about hypocrisy amongst the masses.
@clairemaccy Because state schools are hardly ever closed when private schools are open this situation is rarely captured. But it tells us so much about private school traffic.
@MeristemDesign@wfcouncil@Labourstone@HSscorecard@WeSupportWFMH@khev_limbajee @healthy_hill It’s a shame so many people pave over every single square inch of their front garden to create an utterly barren car park. Those who are here complaining about the £s spent on a rain garden should have a think about why they’ve become necessary.
@annalouisedixon@ian_m_greenwood So true. When a young person is stabbed and killed we’re told we need to urgently fix our society. Yet when another young person dies in a car collision we accept it with resigned inevitability.
