UNDERSTANDING THE UAE’S SUB-IMPERIAL AGENDA IN AFRICA
"The United Arab Emirates has emerged as a small imperialist country in the region," said former Ethiopian diplomat Mohamed Hassan, as he discussed the issues facing the Horn of Africa region with Sovereign Media's Ahmed Kaballo.
Hassan suggested that the UAE is looking to control all major ports along the African coastline and dominate Yemeni ports on the other side of the Red Sea, as part of its aim to engineer the biggest maritime empire in the world.
"It's a parasite system," Hassan declared, noting that the UAE was a nomadic country before "by accident of history" becoming very rich after the discovery of gas and oil.
Hassan connected the UAE's sub-imperial ambitions to the US-backed Abraham Accords that saw the UAE and Bahrain normalise relations with Isr*el.
"What the Emirates call tamadud in Arabic means expansionism...it is concentrated on the Horn of Africa and the purpose is to dismantle the Sudanese state," noted Hassan.
🇳🇪 Niger at the UN:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, as I speak to you, at our northeast borders stand the proxies led by France, backed by Ukraine and 2 other countries."
"And you know full well which countries I mean."
"These proxies are armed, guided, directed, about to attack our military positions and our oil installations. But they will get what they deserve, inshallah."
"Our Sahel is at war. A war of liberation against a conspiracy aimed at its recolonization."
"What some call terrorism in our region is a cynical scheme of recolonization dressed in extremist rags."
"Niger's uranium, the gold of Mali and Burkina, lithium, gas, oil and so many other riches keep the old powers salivating."
"This perfidious destabilization of the central Sahel, led by France with Ukraine's active complicity -- documented, very documented."
"Niger's uranium lit up Europe's cities while ours stayed in darkness. This injustice has now ended. It is over."
"A people that has decided to be free cannot be recolonized, not by fear, nor by cunning, nor even by savage violence."
You untagged yourself in my previous post, you didn’t say anything.
Putting this here again here so no one falls victim to this scam in these tough times.
A mutual actually sent the second frame to verify cos I interacted with the post at first, but I didn’t reach out.

She was bought at fourteen by a man who assaulted her for five years and fathered two of her children.
When she finally fought back and he died, Missouri put her on trial — and the court ruled she had no right to defend herself. Celia. 1855.
Missouri law at the time said a woman could use deadly force to defend her honour.
Celia's lawyers argued that law covered her. The judge ruled it did not — because the statute said "any woman," and Celia was not legally a woman. She was property.
That was the finding. Not that she was lying. Not that it had not happened. That the protection did not extend to her, because she was a thing.
She was convicted and sentenced to hang. The state waited until she had given birth — the baby was stillborn — and then executed her in December 1855.
She was nineteen years old.
Her story is the kind of buried history that we must never forget https://t.co/V6OJtazidd
@daily_trust I have requested community note and reported them under civic integrity. I urge everyone to do the same, we owe those boys the truth to their stories and not allow these soulless cretins to rewrite the evil done to them
I’m not sure you guys understand what just happened in Nigeria.
Over 30 young boys were arrested in Niger and locked in an overcrowded, unventilated cell with extreme heat by @official_NSCDC. They reportedly banged on the door and were ignored.
They were all found dead. Suffocated to dèath. By NSCDC. 💔
If an African talks about centuries of colonialism and slavery, he has 'victim mentality'.
But Americans are told to "never forget" 9|11 — a single day of terrorism.
It is backwardness when Africans remember, but patriotism when Americans do.
Don't let them gaslight you o
