New white paper alert! https://t.co/Q5g2Z7hG0l. In this open access piece, we cover personalized cancer management through clinical genomic testing, with a focus on prostate cancer (PCa). Here's a snapshot of what we discuss: (1/5)
@Markuseckstein3 We're currently looking at the extent of alterations missed due to insufficiencies of current diagnostics, and just submitted an abstract to #AACRbladder24; hope to see you in Charlotte! 2/2
@Markuseckstein3 Another important point to consider when choosing a test is its comprehensiveness. Does it just cover specific recurrent variants, or can it find rare variants and non-canonical fusion breakpoints? 1/2
Deadline for abstract submission June 15th. Don't miss the opportunity to present at IBCN - one of the best #bladdercancer meetings of the year. If you have never been, come check us out!
In our new paper in @CCR_AACR: plasma ctDNA% in pts with mCRPC after 4 wks of abi/enza tx inform on subsequent duration of response (outperforming clinical variables). Can on-treatment ctDNA changes guide an early treatment switch or intensification? https://t.co/IqAdiNwBNN
Here’s a paper from our team in @Nature_NPJ Precision Oncology, led by newly-minted PhD Dr. Elie Ritch (@SudomanX), using machine learning to classify prostate cancer ctDNA samples by DNA damage repair phenotype on the basis of mutational signatures. https://t.co/Wzb3IgSlBx
Does anyone know why there are seemingly no clinical reports of FGFR3 gatekeeper mutations (post-FGFRi) in advanced bladder cancer? Or could someone please point me towards the studies, if there are reports in the literature?
After a long hiatus very happy to host clinical and research fellows chez Black for a little Christmas gathering - very proud to be connected to all these #bladdercancer researchers and caregivers and their families!
Big congrats to PhD student @MurthaAj presenting at #MAP2022 on results from our multi-year collaboration with @piet_ost team, studying intra-patient genomic complexity of treatment-naive de novo metastatic prostate cancer!
