Finished Ace Combat 1 (Air Combat) It was a fun experience seeing where it all started. It's definitely has not age well compared to other PS1 games. But if you take the moment to get adjusted to the controls, you will find a fun time with this game.

You don't have to draw a full mech every time to practice mecha. You can just draw assorted mechanical shapes. Work on your compound geometry and construction. Mecha is just a collection of shapes and the better you are at generating pleasing shapes, the easier it becomes.
