@SirJarus Having a 1st class or 2.1 might be a necessary condition to a succesful career but not sufficient.
Your circle of friends, access to information and how you apply yourself is crucial.
Move with the right people who can inform you about scholarship/hiring opportunities
I have an honest question, and I’d genuinely love people to help me understand this.
Why do people fall out with their friends, partners, or family members and then bring the whole story to social media to tell strangers?
What exactly are you hoping to achieve? Validation? Advice? Sympathy? Or do you just want the other person to look bad?
I’m genuinely curious because some of these are people you once loved and shared private moments with.

LMAO @mc_lively_ 🤣😏🤨
Walk with me…
1. @AkinwunmiAmbode signed the Yoruba Language Preservation and Promotion Law (2018), mandating Yoruba in all public and private primary and secondary schools in Lagos and incorporating it into General Nigerian Studies in all state-owned tertiary institutions.
2. @AkinwunmiAmbode redeveloped the J.K. Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History in Onikan, one of Lagos’ most visited museum with a Yoruba library of literature, history, science, and nursery rhymes for study, documentation, and experience of Yoruba history and culture.
3. @jidesanwoolu expanded, completed, and commissioned the centre. He started Yoruba Week, promoted Isese with an Isese Day, addressed Lagosians in Yoruba, and translated laws into Yoruba.
4. Yoruba is an official means of communication in all Lagos State-owned establishments.
5. The Yoruba Language Preservation and Promotion Law (2018) also provides for Yoruba versions of all state laws.
6. The Lagos House of Assembly @lshaofficial has long used Yoruba for Thursday proceedings, including debates, motions, and traditional attire.
Barrister Mike from Agenebode, Edo State, stay out of Yoruba people’s business, just as we have stayed out of your business and stop embarrassing the good people of Estako.
Thanks.
I know you’re chasing riches, but chase stability first. Build a solid foundation, find your balance and get your life in order. It’s hard to build wealth when your life isn’t stable.
Very sad to hear the sad news our ex owner Ken Bates has passed away, without him Chelsea wouldn’t be the club we are today. Firstly he saved my club from bankruptcy and then won us our first major trophies for 26 years in 1997. Brought the likes of Ruud Guilit, Vialli and Zola to our club. Got us our first taste of Champions League in 1999. Then sold the club to Roman Abramovich and we went onto more glory. Thank you Ken Bates 💙
The true lottery winners are those who got married to someone high-energy, mentally stable, intellectually curious, and above all, overflowing every day in gratitude and optimistic energy, to be able to learn, to be able to grow, to be able to experience the ups and downs of life
I'm convinced that it’s perfectly ok to live a life that looks confusing to others. Wake up early. Do hard things. Focus deeply. Eat real foods. Go on walks. Obsess over one thing. Read old books. Avoid drama. Save money. Never gossip. Love your people. Recipe for a good life.
Dear young Nigerian,
Above all, know yourself. Recognize your abilities and acknowledge that you have a significant role to play in how far you go in life. The limitations before you are the ones you accepted. There is more. Always go for more. Never settle. Thrive and excel.
In this second half of the year, you will not only live, you will live well. You will thrive. You will excel. Everything you lay your hands on shall prosper.
Stop asking people what they bring to the table. Stop figuring out what value they add to your life. If you can’t see any, then move on to the next person.
you need to ignore what everyone is doing and achieving. your life is about breaking your own limits and outgrowing yourself. you are not in competition with anyone else. plan to outdo your old self not other people.
i refuse to live by impulse, my mind is calm, my vision is clear and my standards are high. i attract opportunities cos i prepare for them. i create value, manage money with wisdom, embrace discomfort that leads to growth and become the kind of person success naturally follows.
