A message to our community, supporters, and backers.

Launching a product in web2 is already incredibly challenging. Of the tens of thousands of AI companies launched in the last 30 years, there is only one ChatGPT.

Launching a product in web3 is even more demanding. Building in public exposes builders to constant scrutiny from markets and holders, much like publicly traded companies. Yet, crypto projects often are still "baby companies" when they release tokens.

We can't guarantee that every launch will yield a 10x return overnight. However, as builders, we can assure you of the following:

1. We work hard.

2. We tackle meaningful, fundamental, and complex technological challenges, such as scaling Bitcoin and decentralizing AI.

3. We believe we can build pretty good products, and given a long enough horizon, the best products win.

Bitcoin Virtual Machine (BVM) and Eternal AI are not dog and cat memecoins. They are some of the most important crypto infrastructures developed by ambitious, driven, and mission-focused teams.

As token holders, you own a piece of these infrastructures.

BVM is rolling out BVM v2 from now until the end of June, featuring:

1. ZK Rollup on Bitcoin
2. ZK Light Nodes on Bitcoin
3. Bitcoin Decentralized Bridges
4. Bitcoin Dapp Store.

BVM v2 will upgrade Bitcoin in a massive way. No other team can match the BVM team's pace; what they deliver in a week takes others a year.

Eternal AI is rolling out these products from now until September.

1. Decentralized AI Agents
2. Decentralized Compute w/ AI Home Node hardware
3. Custom VM with GPU for AI/ML Parallelization
4. Fully On-Chain AI over the next months.

Each of these initiatives has the potential to be a billion-dollar protocol. And they already have a working product you can use now, not just some fancy AI whitepapers.

Though it may seem like a long time ago, BVM has been around for only 2 months since its listing, and EAI is just 1 day old.

Both crypto and AI are in the middle of a revolution. AI is growing rapidly but becoming increasingly centralized among a few companies worldwide. Meanwhile, crypto has proven it could replace centralized services with decentralized protocols.

We believe we’re building something special here with Eternal AI by combining crypto and AI.

In the short term, we must establish several foundational components to pave the way for decentralized AI.

Our immediate priority is to deliver a full-stack decentralized AI infrastructure with four key decentralized components:

1) Decentralized AI Inference
2) Decentralized AI Compute
3) Decentralized AI Model Storage
4) Decentralized AI Model Creation

In the long term, we will focus on the following areas, some of which we have been developing for over a year:

5) Fully On-chain AI
6) GPU BVM for Parallelization
7) Tokenizing all things AI

1) DECENTRALIZED AI INFERENCE

Our first goal is establishing the network's foundation with thousands of independent AI agents that process AI prompts.

Since we launched the AI agent program a few days ago, 149 AI agents have powered the network. If everything goes well, tens of thousands of AI agents will manage various prompts across language, text, and audio.

We're making it easy for anyone to launch an AI agent by offering multiple options.

✅ Solo AI Agent (May 2024)

Launching an AI agent is simple if you're comfortable with the shell and hardware. You can turn your home computer into a powerful AI agent with just a few command lines.

✅ AI Agent as a Service (May 2024)

AI Agent as a Service offers an easy alternative for those unfamiliar with the shell and uncomfortable dealing with hardware.

❑ Pooled AI Agent (June 2024)

Pooled AI Agent is the easiest way to power the network. There is no minimum requirement. You can stake as little as 1 EAI to get started.

2) DECENTRALIZED AI COMPUTE

Second, we are working towards adding more GPUs to the infrastructure.

@ionet has been an excellent partner. We’re exploring other GPU networks, such as @rendernetwork, @Livepeer, and @akashnet. The more choices, the better for users.

We’ve been working on fully on-chain AI for over a year now. The first on-chain AI we released was on Bitcoin in March 2023 - with Perceptrons.

We believe fully on-chain AI is the holy grail of Crypto x AI. Our team has been working on this area for over a year and will continue to invest in developing it.

6) PARALLEL COMPUTATION

✅ GPU-BVM v0.1
❑ GPU-BVM v1 (October 2024)

A couple of weeks ago, we released the MVP of GPU-BVM v0.1. We only added a few @NVIDIAAI CUDA instructions to BVM, but it was enough to show us the potential of bringing GPU to BVM.

GPUs are essential tools for AI. They speed up computation massively because they have 1000x more cores than CPUs.

We’ll add more CUDA instructions to BVM and fully support other model architectures like CNN and Transformers.

7) TOKENIZE ALL THINGS AI

❑ Tokenize AI models with AI-721 (Oct 2024)
❑ Tokenize AI agents with AI-20 (Nov 2024)
❑ Govern AI agents with AI-DAO (Dec 2024)
❑ Tokenize data (TBD)

There are areas that we would like to spend more time on.

Tokenizing AI models as AI-721 (NFTs) would change their ownership and distribution. It would give AI creators a better ownership model over their creations while enabling on-chain trading on these AI models.

Tokenizing AI agents as AI-20 is also an interesting distribution model and coordination mechanism. AI agents are revenue-generating products. Creating a tradeable digital token for an AI agent would allow the distribution of its ownership, revenue sharing, and governance rights.

Naturally, we would work on AI-DAOs for managing AI models next. An AI DAO coordinates AI token holders who will co-own and co-run the AI model. Through voting, DAO members can propose changes to the AI agent's governance policies, development roadmap, and revenue distribution schemes.

And finally, tokenizing datasets (text, images, videos) is an interesting problem. With AI, data is the new oil. Once tokenized, these datasets can be traded on-chain.

Today, AI is in the hands of a handful of large companies worldwide. While it works well enough for current use cases, it suffers from the inherent weakness of centralized AI systems.

A decentralized AI infrastructure is needed. We propose our roadmap with both short-term and long-term goals for building the foundational blocks for decentralized AI.
