Before she became a statistic, she was somebody’s daughter,Somebody’s friend.
Somebody with a future she had not yet imagined.
And yet, for millions of girls and women, the story is being written for them before they ever get the chance to hold the pen.
My deepest condolences to the bereaved families. This cycle of senseless violence MUST STOP!
We demand that the government and security agencies act decisively, bring the perpetrators to justice, and restore peace to Plateau. Enough is enough!

Chemical hair relaxers are fueling a silent health crisis. Roughly 45% of Nigerian women have been diagnosed with uterine fibroids, often developing them by age 35.
A full decade earlier than women in Western countries.
New year, new me... just kidding, same me with bigger goals! 😂 …..
Wishing you a year filled with love, laughter, and endless possibilities!
Happy New Year
Here’s what I’m suggesting- every citizen contacts their reps & senators with coordinated emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages with the following -
*Dear Hon/Sen, as your constituent, i am urging you to call for a PUBLIC hearing to address the strategy to defeat terrorism, rumours of an ill-equipped military and how Nigerians will be kept safe. Please act urgently*
This is how it starts: Most Northerners are wired from childhood to be INTOLERANT.
Imagine kids harassing & calling another kid "ARNE" (unbeliever) because he's NOT a Muslim.
How will these kids NOT grow up to be Terrorists/Bandits, especially when they have little or no EDUCATION?
🤷🏾♂️
Minister Tugar you said 177 Christians killed in the last 5 years, do you know the yelwata and Christmas Eve killings in the plateau is close to 500.
Where do you get this data from?
I've typed, deleted, typed, deleted, typed, deleted.
At what point do we mature to compete? See as e dry!
One of the main problems:
It is easier for a French/US citizen to fly into a lot of African countries, than for a fellow African to fly in.
Is the continent cursed?
A 45-year-old man in Jalingo raped a 6-year-old girl who happens to be his Naighbour, and he’s HIV positive. I covered the report. He’s now in police custody, but there’s a chance he might be released because of his connections.1/2…
I wish you ppl knew how much your govt officials simply do not work. like they do absolutely NOTHING but find random conferences around the world to bring a delegation of hangers-on to week-after-week flying business/first class & getting fat (literally) off of your commonwealth
Oh wow! This is sad and scary because policing at its core, was never meant to be customer service. When Sir Robert Peel laid out the early principles of policing in 1829, he made it clear that “the police are the public and the public are the police.” Their legitimacy was supposed to come from public trust, not power, not fear, not optics.
That’s why this post celebrating Customer Service Week feels so off because customers aren’t customers buying safety or justice. They are people with rights the police are sworn to protect.
Calling them “customers” might sound harmless, but it hits differently in a country where unlawful arrests, brutality, and extrajudicial killings are still part of our reality. It is also a reflection of how disconnected the institution has become from the people it serves.
We don’t need “customer care.” We need citizen care, rooted in fairness, accountability, and respect for human life. Until that is the foundation, no graphic or PR campaign will fix the trust gap.
