I'm not seeing threats and the like for example, just claims she shouldn't be hired again, and a lot of ignorant "wokeness" claims. That said, adaptations must meet a certain bar of quality this didn't meet.

@lindainutopia @LHissrich Good adaptations are seldom critiqued. The Lord of the Rings took some creative license in its adaptation, and was lauded as amazing. There is no issue when the adaptation diverges so long as the writing quality meets a respectful threshold. The bar wasn't met here.

I actually have parents that rather like the show, they of course are completely unaware of the source material, and aren't connected to Geralt being the main protagonist. I do think an objective comparison of writing quality puts the show below book and game.

@AntonisMadScie1 @FFXIV_NEWS_EN The login queues are "technically" stable. What is happening is they have a new anti AFK feature that reads button presses it's only possible to do in game. Thus, if you're waiting in queue you can't do them. Solution is to log in quickly and regain your spot.

@blynxii @playnewworld There is its based on encumbrance. If you're in light armor, and you have a low amount of total equipment on your character, you float, and thus can swim. If you are carrying too much, or in heavy armor, you sink.
