@discord_support I keep getting kicked from the Voice Chats in a server that I’m apart of, I don’t have anyway to prove it, but I really need someone to look into it, I had someone letting me know that no one has kicked me from the Voice Chat
The age verification does not work, but the act of forcing people to have an online digital id did. They don't care about protecting children. That is not what it is about. It's about total surveillance.
Congress is preparing to vote on the KIDS Act, a sweeping internet bill that would pressure websites and apps to determine users’ ages before allowing them to read websites, send private messages, or participate in online communities.

Makes me wonder what led them to make a YouTube Channel only to make AI Slop, like I don’t mind people using AI, but don’t use it as a substitute for creativity like at all

"Kids Safety" organizations are mad that the KIDS Act isn't MORE censorial. That's what's really happening here.
Because people are not being loud enough *to Congress* about how much they don't like this bill, you get these organizations speaking for you. Is that what you want?
they keep asking to vote again and again despite NO MEANING NO

The KIDS Act doesn't stop predators. It expands federal authority over the internet, pushes age verification requirements, and creates new burdens for online services—all while raising serious privacy concerns.

Age checks are failing across the globe, endangering the very children they purport to protect.
The White House must reject stateside attempts at similar speech checkpoints, just as they have abroad, protecting digital freedom at home. 🇺🇸

I’m very disappointed on how people would just take the money, YouTube needs to learn the consequences of their actions
Weeks after America slammed the UK for dystopian social media rules, Congress is rushing through its own version.
The KIDS Act (with KOSA & more) is a bipartisan privacy nightmare: forces platforms to ID minors under a vague “should have known” standard, kills anonymity, ramps up surveillance on everyone, and creates a patchwork of rules.
“No age verification required" ... yet platforms get punished if they “should have known” a user is a minor.
That means digital ID/surveillance for all.

House reaches deal on pornography age verification and social media protections for minors
Members of both parties on the House Energy and Commerce Committee announced an agreement Monday on a legislative package meant to protect children from online harms, including pornography. It marks a breakthrough after months of discussion of a measure with strong support, but it has also drawn criticism from free-speech advocates on both the Left and the Right.
Some liberal groups have claimed that KOSA could be used to block programs meant to provide information about gay and transgender issues to minors. On the Right, some activists have warned that the measure could facilitate the censorship of dissenting voices on social media, as happened during the COVID-19 pandemic.
