Would very much value your feedback on this preprint @LMWilliams_PhD - should cortical shape / geometric eigenmodes be utilised in precision psychiatry?

Could developing uniqueness of cortical 🧠 shape predict mental health outcomes?
Our brain fingerprinting study (613 scans, 116 adolescents) found ⬇️cortical uniqueness is associated with ⬆️psychological distress &⬇️wellbeing, current & future. Preprint:

@ian_hickie - really keen to get your thoughts on this preprint... it empirically supports the pluripotential concept we discussed/examined in youth mental health clinics @BrainMind_Usyd, this time in a community sample...

We utilised a high dimensional, longitudinal dataset from N=166 adolescents. We found that 6 polysymptomatic mental health ‘states’ emerge early & are pluripotential, with transitory trajectories. Please read the preprint, add any feedback you may have:

@JacobJCrouse@ndosenbach @gordonneuro @DosenbachLab@JacobJCrouse - I wonder: if we had have described this as the 'action-mode' network, our paper might have picked up some more citations!

Introducing the Action-Mode Network – AMN. Better late than never! 17 years ago, we clumsily called this the Cingulo-opercular Network (CON) based on its anatomy (we weren’t exactly sure what it does). Now we’ve finally got the evidence to give it the functional name it deserves: the Action-mode Network (AMN). Find our arguments here: https://t.co/z8290fmmVB with the peerless Marc Raichle and the brilliant @gordonneuro. 🧵 ↓
