Yeah: people who were kids when it was released in theaters and on VHS. It’s not at all mysterious.
I really cannot believe how badly these people fucked it up, even by their own standards, given their own moral priorities, and with an eye to their own political interests.
Trump should have been charged with Epiphany Putsch and Raffensperger call-related crimes by the spring of 2021. There was no rush, because it was self-evident to the Liberal Officialdom that the Grave Violation of Norms was indisputable and that Trump was in the wilderness.
I also felt bad that only people could take selfies with the traffic cameras, while the cameras themselves did all the work.
So I went to Times Square, put a mirror on the end of the pole, and took a true “traffic camera selfie”
… Mostly to see how they fill up a 90-minute celebration of their quarter century without mentioning Chris Kimball once. Or even letting him show up at the edges of their b-roll.
