Harwood-Bellis is one of the best defenders in the division, but he’s also a key component to our attack too. He’s dominant from set pieces and brilliant at whipping long balls around the defence. Extremely worried by how we’ll replace his influence at both ends #SaintsFC
@_AlexOliva_ Alex, what do you think of his hold up play? We’ve really struggled to create without a Larin/Stewart up there. Chances will be there for him if he can do the dirty work imo
@SaintsExtra@JustSaints_ Actually some decent movement from Downs but he’s just clearly not there mentally at all. Needs another loan or more likely to move on permanently
Deleted a LaMelo trade tweet because I didn’t feel like arguing with fifty Minnesotans but I think people are making some really bold assumptions about what the Wolves are going to look like ~2029 given how quickly they’re dismissing those pick swaps.
@crungeee@halibuckets@JoestarJokic I’m not going to argue that the Hornets have been a smart franchise historically, but this isn’t the Mavs with Luka. They clearly shopped him around and this is what his value was like because GMs are not entirely convinced by him
@halibuckets@crungeee@JoestarJokic That doesn’t make any sense, Halibuckets, they’re making changes and not sticking with a formula that was unlikely to win them a championship. How can you not wrap your head around this? Do you actually have a learning disability or smth bud?
@crungeee@halibuckets@JoestarJokic Keeping LaMelo would’ve been being comfortable with mediocrity. He’s been healthy once in five years. I do not care about Naz Reid and they can always move him later if needed. It’s the Hornets so they’ll probably fuck up the rebuild but I still think it’s the right philosophy
@Ryguy90417743@BlindObed76@eagleslbcore@JoestarJokic I’m not moved by regular season wins after February. Over half the league is tanking by then. LaMelo has been healthy once in five years. Think it was extremely unlikely that was a championship formula
Could not dislike this pairing more. LaMelo is not a winning player. Never healthy. And is just going to take the ball out of Ant's hands.
The Hornets just had their best season in forever -- ask yourself why they'd want to trade LaMelo!
I’ve had roughly 40 minutes to think about it & I really hate this trade for Minnesota…
I guess props to them for trying to mix it up & make a huge splash, but just don’t really see how this makes them a better team. No Randle I get, no Reid is insane. He was their guy!
