@ededward16@cmerk72@wayne_m159 Probably even less than that, I remember reading the Bugatti Veyron's gas tank would be empty in 7 minutes at max speed.
@akarlin It takes very little skill (although not not at all) and very much grinding and help from fellow clan mates. Being a celebrity or a succesfull streamer is playing it easy mode since people will donate gear/materials to you for free, making the achievement that much easier.
@ArthurFromX I noticed the same but only when there's a window/display to "see through". Have you passed a window by any chance which is now located behind the left side of the car?
@AIDRIVR Mercedes already has L3 in some parts of Europe. This regulation applies only to ADAS afaik, thus the current flavor of supervised FSD. Tesla could potentially certify FSD as an L3-L4 systems and it won't need to comply to the driver input rule.
@thechosenberg Not only it's true for junior sw devs, it's true for almost any dev that wants to greatly improve in the shortest amount of time. Spending time with people more experienced than you helps a ton. Progress can be done even remote, but at a significantly greater cost effort-wise.
@garyblack00 I am a Tesla owner and I strongly disagree with most of Elon's views as of late. However I would still buy a Tesla after the current one. But the thing is, if I had to chose between two cars that provide similar value I don't see why I wouldn't use Elon's opinions in a tiebreak.
@TeslaJoy@nickshanks_@jeremyjudkins_@Tesla@elonmusk Mine shows 49% when complete after set to charge at 50% for the better part of the year now. Charged a few times to 80 or 90% and it still displayed 1% below that.
@SawyerMerritt@Tesla Picture from a China showroom. The 19inch tire is rated W which equals to a certified top speed of 270km/h. The tire is not the reason for the reduction in top speed.
After my analysis "Why the Ukrainian Counteroffensive is Going Very Well," which surprisingly reached over 715k views, I received many insults, threats, and the usual insults like "cope cake" or "copium." I have a message for those who choose to read me. But first:
1. Who am I?
My name is Radu Hossu, I am from Brasov, Romania, I am 37 years old, and I have been a political consultant for some time. Previously, I was involved in organizing the largest pro-democracy and anti-corruption protests in Romania.
I am not a journalist, and I am not a military analyst, but political consultancy deals with political strategy. Political strategy is derived from military strategy, so I understand certain elements related to this war more easily than others and certainly better than those who support a state-declared sponsor of terrorists and led by a war criminal.
I am accredited by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine as a War Correspondent.
2. What have I done regarding Ukraine?
- On my personal Facebook page (link in bio), I conducted the largest crowdfunding campaign by an individual in Romania - at least that's what the national press says: over 600,000 euros in multiple campaigns, starting from August 2022 until May 2023. This money has been transformed into humanitarian aid, including dozens of generators in December when Ukraine's energy infrastructure was hit, and dozens of vehicles for various units on the front lines.
- I have personally been to Bakhmut three times. In October, November, and in the middle of January when Bakhmut was almost encircled. I personally drove the fire truck after learning of its need from @DefMon3 and obtained information about what I should buy from donations by Romanians from organizations such as @NorwegianAidUkr and @BlagulaBilen .
- As projects go, I am most proud of the Oleg Gubal Mobile Medical Complex - named after one of the Ukrainians killed on the front lines, whom I befriended after spending three months with him and his team on the eastern front. It has already been targeted by the Russians and was bombed while under construction somewhere in Kyiv, injuring a civilian and lightly damaging the bus that serves as the stabilization point. However, it is now 99% ready for inauguration. I have donated five ambulances, medical equipment, etc. All with the money from Romanians and part of my own money, as I practically lost my job and rely on the money from Patreon, where people support me, in order to continue this effort.
- I evacuated civilians from Bakhmut in November 2022, and one of them got married this year. During the groom's toast, he said, "If it weren't for Radu Hossu and (Misha - AFU soldier), I wouldn't be alive today, and I wouldn't have the chance to marry the love of my life." This is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done in my life.
3 Me and Ukraine:
3.1 The summaries and analyses that I started posting on Twitter in recent days, which have gained international traction and visibility, are not new to me. I have been writing them in Romanian since February 26, 2022. I have read thousands of pages on military strategy, constantly educated myself, and earned trust, at least among the Romanian audience, because I always make sure to separate what is happening on the front lines from my subjective opinions, which I always treat separately in the analysis.
3.2 I spent 4 months on the Eastern Front, in Kharkiv, during the counteroffensive in September 2022, and on other fronts as well. As Arya Stark from Game of Thrones would say, "I have seen death many times. It has many faces. I can't wait to see this one," because I am returning to Ukraine in Herson to deliver aid in the form of specialized products for the city's power grid and sewer system. Thank you @MriyaReport and @Princexxxii @domenpresem @BalticSnowTiger@YAmzallagh@AlGGDirect @ford_nik @PrimusPilus2022 and other admins and people who make this space exist because I have learned a lot from them. But I thank them, especially for putting me in touch with the mayor of Herson, where I will deliver over 70,000 euros worth of aid collected from Romanian donations.
3.3 I'm going to the Zaporizhia front, to the contact line, to Chasiv Yar, and probably Bakhmut with aid. I have been to the Ukrainian training bases, and I know their morale. I have seen how they train, their desire for victory, and how they deal with their losses. Radically different from the Russians, for whom the lives of their comrades are almost meaningless. I will also visit @LanguageIearner , a TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) instructor, who needs equipment and material assistance to support training Ukrainian soldiers in the necessary survival techniques in case of injury.
3.4 I think you see a common thread in all these things: I have focused on saving lives, not killing Russians. I have never derogatorily referred to them; I'm not that kind of person, even though they have taken friends from me. I could have bought many grenade-launching drones with this money, but I chose to buy things that save lives, including the lives of Russian soldiers (because under the Hippocratic oath, those who will work in the Oleg Gubal Mobile Medical Complex are obliged to provide first aid to injured Russians).
4. Message:
4.1 To those who support me: whether you do it through retweets, comments, and likes to give my analyses a wider reach, considering that we are also on an informational front, each of us is, whether we like it or not, part of the hybrid war being fought in Ukraine. We will win our battle against the supporters of criminals if we are like the Ukrainian army: innovative, disciplined, and resilient over time.
We need to be inspired by the Ukrainians, their heroism and resilience and continue our fight on our own front.
4.2 To those who comment without adding value: you will be instantly blocked. (For those who don't know the American slang term "copium," which I am accused of: "As a meme term, copium is a satirical term used by 'online personalities' on platforms like Twitch and Reddit. It's an amalgamation of two terms: 'cope' and 'opium,' and it's a joke term used to describe a fictional drug that one consumes after suffering a loss, defeat, or disappointment."). You don't bring value to the discussion, so you have no place in my posts.
I accept and will always accept criticism as long as it generates debate, in which each side or at least one side gains something as informative value. Insults do not generate debate.
4.3. To those who support Russia: block, report, and forward the account to @NAFO_RO because you confuse democracy and freedom of speech with slander and tarnish the image and dignity of those who lost their lives due to the terrorist regime you support.
----
I take responsibility for all these things because I'm interested in fostering healthy debates in my posts, among people who, even if they disagree, provide reasoned arguments and don't resort to logical fallacies like "ad hominem."
I know what I have to do. I know I need to support Ukraine. On the informational front, with non-lethal aid, and bring updates related to the war there, as objectively as possible and always supported by arguments.
As for those of you who are only filled with hate, do you know what you're doing? Probably not. Because you lack direction. At least those who support the sponsoring state of terrorism, they know what they're doing and why they're doing it. For a little extra ruble or simply because they lack reason or the ability to empathize or show humanity.
My revenge is to mind my own business, and block and report you (when necessary), but it's never my job to respond to you. I recommend to all those who follow me not to waste their precious time with people who don't add value to the discussion and to remove them from their virtual space, and instead actively support Ukraine! The one that fights and pays with blood for the values and beliefs that we in the West enjoy as a given - even though it's not a given. Democracy, freedom, and the sovereignty of international law must be fought for every day!
Today, the brave Ukrainians are doing it for each and every one of us! And the price they pay is counted in lives lost and blood.
Glory to Ukraine!
Night Summary (June 30, 02:10 AM RO/UA):
Good news and extremely good news:
1. Counteroffensive:
1.1 I will add the Vasylivka axis to the southern axes (Orihiv-Tokmak axis and Velika Novosiilka-Berkiansk axis).
[SPECULATION!] On May 5th, in the Night Summary on Facebook, I speculated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) would advance along the southern bank of the Dnieper River, south of Energodar, reaching Myhailivka, and then cutting the Russian front in half along the separation line between the Kherson and Zaporizhia Oblasts.
So far, it is still unclear what the final purpose of this axis is. It may be a mere testing of the front, but the advancement in this area is evident and should be noted.
1.2 Orihiv-Tokmak axis:
The Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) have advanced and are at the gates of Robotyne, practically at the entrance to the "Surovikin Line." This is the first real test for these tactical breakthroughs by the Ukrainians in this phase of the counteroffensive.
Satellite images from Planet Labs indicate that the Russians have built an artificial dam. They didn't need it because Tokmak has enough water sources. The only reason I see is that they built it to detonate it if they need to flood the city.
Tokmak is a crucial logistical and military center on the Orihiv-Melitopol-Azov Sea axis. It is practically the most important logistics point. If Tokmak is liberated (being behind the "Surovikin Line"), it means that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) have breached the line and are already advancing much faster towards Melitopol/Crimea/Berdiansk. We still need to see what will happen with this dam in the following weeks.
Why do I call them "tactical breakthroughs"? Because the ultimate goal of this counteroffensive is to cut off the land bridge between Donbas and Crimea. That is a strategic goal. To achieve a strategic goal, you have to succeed in your tactical objectives. So far, the AFU is succeeding better than many of us expected, those who closely follow the war.
The AFU's attack model, as I mentioned before, is a hybrid one: partly using Combined Arms Operations (from the American doctrine), but without the aerial support that the US strictly includes in its doctrine, combined with what I know from the Soviet and post-Soviet doctrine, where artillery and the destruction of anything in front of you come down to a rain of shells.
Therefore, we are witnessing an experiment, if I may call it that, from which all the world's armies will learn. So far, despite all the pessimism and even the numbers, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are achieving extremely significant advances in this phase of the war. They are gaining 1-2 km per day on all attack axes.
1.3 Velika Novosiilka-Berdiansk axis:
Using the same attack model mentioned above, where they attack positions and the Russians respond with artillery, thereby exposing their location, the Ukrainians have managed to destroy more Russian artillery batteries in recent weeks than tanks, which is happening for the first time since the war began.
They have advanced and are at the gates of the town of Staromayorske from the south, and from the east, after liberating Rivnopil, they threaten to surround Russian troops between Rivnopil and Staromayorske.
1.4 Vasyivka axis:
The AFU is attacking from two fronts, from the west of Lubkove towards Luhove, a city 5 km from Vasylivka. Based on the available information, Vasylivka has served as a command and logistics center for the eastern front of Zaporizhia and one of the fortress cities for the Russians in the ongoing counteroffensive. In the following days, most likely, it will be attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU).
1.5 Herson Axis:
In the past 24 hours, several extremely interesting things have happened. Firstly, what started as preparation for a bridgehead over the Dnieper River from Herson has turned into an actual bridgehead. From 50 Ukrainian soldiers, the numbers have already reached several hundred, if not more. However, battles have been fought today and continue to be fought to conquer the bridge crossing the Konka River and entering the city of Olesky.
Another interesting thing is that similar movements of the Ukrainians have been observed where the Nova Khakovka dam used to be. This indicates that the Ukrainians want to return to what I speculate was the initial plan: an attack from the northern front of Zaporojie and from the east of the Dnieper River before the terrorist catastrophe caused by the Russians.
The most spectacular information on this axis is that the illegal Russian administration has officially issued a statement requesting the evacuation of all settlements east of the Dnieper within a 15 km radius, an indication that they are aware they cannot withstand the Ukrainians on this front.
2. Battle for Bahkmut:
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have crossed the Siversky Donets Canal and are attacking Kurdyumivka south of Bakhmut, Andriivka south of Bakhmut, and have surrounded Klischiivka - where I previously mentioned "Zombie Land" in January, where the Wagner Group sent hundreds of soldiers as cannon fodder just to take over the city and prohibit the T0504 from Ivanivske towards Bakhmut.
According to the latest information, the VDV troops have surrendered, and Klischiivka is on the verge of being liberated.
The extraordinary news now confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, something I have been saying for some time (although I was referring to the south): the Russians are starting to abandon their positions inside Bakhmut. Bakhmut has entered the liberation phase!
3. International assistance:
3.1 Germany has announced a new aid package for Ukraine, consisting mainly of crucial logistics and engineering vehicles for river crossings, demining roads ahead of assault brigades, and so on.
3.2 USA: (these are still Pentagon sources quoted by the entire US media): the United States of America is about to provide ATACMS medium-range missiles.
A brief note regarding these missiles, to help everyone understand why they are so important and why they can be "game changers" once again, just like the HIMARS with M31 ammunition entering the battlefield in July of last year:
ATACMS missiles have a range (depending on the missile model used - ATACMS B1 or B2) between 160 and 300 km. This means that almost no ammunition depot, logistic center, railway, or concentration of Russian troops is protected anymore.
From this perspective, they are equally vulnerable to the already famous Shadow Storm, but the latter are in small numbers, and the launch platforms are Su-24 aircraft, of which Ukraine has a small number and can be targeted by Russian air defense systems at any time.
However, ATACMS can be launched from any of the platforms in the HIMARS family - LARS (France), MARS II (Germany), HIMARS (USA), or M270 (UK) - which are already in Ukraine!
If ATACMS reaches Ukraine in the coming weeks, then I guarantee that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will reach the Sea of Azov by the end of autumn, achieving their strategic objective, and I believe AFU will even attempt an incursion into Crimea.
4. Prigozhin vs. Putin/Shoigu/Gerasimov/Who knows?
Benefits for Ukraine:
4.1 At least 25,000 Russian mercenaries out of Ukraine. Considering the estimates from various sources that Russia currently has between 150,000 and 200,000 illegally deployed soldiers in Ukraine, dispersed over a front of over 1,200 km in length, this reduction of 25,000 is incredibly important.
4.2 Destabilization of the Kremlin. We don't know who will open a window at some point, who will drink tea with a strange taste, but what we know for sure is that Putin, in order to maintain the perception of power, will have to find a scapegoat (probably several).
The latest information from sources (ATTENTION! SOURCES! So always take the information with skepticism) is that purges have already begun between the FSB (former KGB) and the Russian Ministry of Defense led by Shoigu. Whether this is happening with or without Putin's knowledge, we cannot know. However, this is clearly a definite advantage for Ukraine.
4.3 The Russians have lost the initiative on the Bakhmut-Soldar-Siversk line precisely because those who were throwing people into battle without valuing their lives (the Wagner Group) are no longer there.
I know, it's a long summary, but I wanted us to have a clear and well-established starting point in early June, to which we can return and see if the Ukrainian advance meets our expectations or not.
For all this good news for democracy, for freedom, for the people who have already given their lives for them, and for those who unfortunately will die so that we can breathe air free from the contamination of the Russian scent, please give a like, share, and especially comment on this post.
For every like/comment/share, the heart of a Putinist, a lover of dictators, a supporter of war criminals, a supporter of a terrorist state, skips a beat.
For every like/comment/share given to this post, people who may not have known much about the war until now and have fallen into the trap of the falsehood of "the counteroffensive is not working, Ukraine is weak, why should we help them?" have a chance to discover the truth. And the truth matters more than anything else!
I am spending my last days on Romanian territory, and then I am heading back to Ukraine. In Herson, to deliver the necessary supplies, purchased with the money donated by hundreds of you - for which I thank you immensely - and then I will go further to the front line to report from there about what is happening, not from the comfort of a sofa!
For Oleg Gubal! For the children of Ukraine stolen by the illegal and unjust invasion of Russia. For all the women violated and tortured! For all the fallen heroes! For freedom! For Romania, Europe, and the whole world are defended by the heroism of Ukrainian soldiers and those from the International Legion and the intelligence of their commanders in making decisions!
Glory to Ukraine!
