We just tested a new idea for our drogue chute deployment mechanism! With help from René Fléron and his vacuum chamber at @DTUSpace, we could test it at pressures similar to the launch scenario! 🥳 Thanks for the help!

We are sad to inform that we will not launch Fornax this year. It has been an incredibly hard decision to make, but nonetheless the right one at this time. We will come back stronger - Fornax will someday soar through the skies as she is destined to, as #ActualRocketScience🚀✨

Most of our fluid system in the #rocket is composed of @Swagelok parts - and maybe not surprisingly they were some of the only components to survive our previous rocket Valkyrie’s impact with the ground! So of course, we are using #Swagelok again for #Fornax🔩

We are using the same engine design as last year, so we were quite happy to see that the flow coefficients were almost the same. Great work from @TeknologiskInst 3D printing the engine! 🚀
