@chaitinsgoose That's not a fair comparison. The election of a political candidate has consequences that last beyond the conclusion of the experiment, and given the candidates stated willingness to kill people, probably not good ones.
@brohammersbot@sorrywrongjoe Any train, whether out of control or not, *might* run someone over if they were foolish enough to wander onto the track. Why aren't you running towards your nearest railway right now to try and stop this eventuality?
@sainsburys Hiya. I thought you should know that a salad I purchased from the Warwick store this Saturday had a live grasshopper inside. It was quite a shock!
@WistfulKath@NathanpmYoung Nobody is being randomly attacked against their will. Everyone who puts themselves at risk of death does so completely voluntarily.
@SnowAndSteady@MentisWave A closer analogy would be:
You're at the zoo, there is a lion in a cage. The cage has a small opening you could use to climb inside.
If 1 person enters they'll be eaten. If 3 enter they'll subdue the lion.
Without knowing in advance what the others will do, do you enter the cage?
@IjazSSJ3 Hedgehogs can be found all over the UK, but they're rarely spotted because they're small, nocturnal and easily hide in bushes. Drive along any busy country road and you'll see a flattened one before too long.
@boblister_poole New cars all have automatic speed limiters which will do this for you so you never have to look. All you have to do is not turn it off whenever you start your car like most drivers do.
@BylinkinMichael@WZG1889 A foot or cycle bridge at either of these locations (in red), would connect the MetLife complex to the rest of the local area. The leftmost option would reduce the journey time from central rutherford to the station to 24 minutes on foot or 8 minutes by cycle.
