@tapintomacdfs@PSchrags@RyanPaganetti They tried to run all game. Averaged 1.2 yds per rush. They tried to run at the end of that drive. Lost 3 yds. Their kicker is under 50% from that distance. They needed more yards. Best way to do that? Pass. Yet you insist otherwise. I’m all done trying to help you understand.
@tapintomacdfs@PSchrags@RyanPaganetti Oh. So if they ran for say -3 yards on first down, then the jags timeout, and then say on second time it was an incomplete pass. And then I’m third down. Let’s just say they throw an 8 yard pass to lemon who goes out of bounds. You’re good with all of that?
@tapintomacdfs@PSchrags@RyanPaganetti This is nonsense. It doesn’t matter what order they did it. You’ve just added in “pass then go down in bounds” to the equation. Sure, I guess. But the passing play calls were still the right calls.
@CaseL731@RyanPaganetti@EliotShorrParks Oh really? You're saying that the odds of missing a 50+ yard FG are less than what, exactly? Then of allowing a 50+ yard return with :08 on the clock? I saw some post today saying that only 4 of 3,600 KO returns have happened with 8 or fewer seconds left, or .11%.
@RyanPaganetti@EliotShorrParks Imagine for me if you will a scenario where they attempt, and miss, a 50+ yard FG as time expires. What are you saying then? (Be honest)
@RyanPaganetti You continue to ignore the reality that no offensive coordinator worth a damn wood come in to this situation if it meant, they had to cede control of the running game to somebody else. For a smart guy you’re playing dumb.
@RyanPaganetti@theStevenRuiz I love Stout. Have a Stoutland U t-shirt. But they weren't landing anyone good at OC if it meant they had to agree to let Stout own the running game. Simple as that.
