@KatherineShofi@VickieforNYC He's Pakistani, by the accent, so his Muslim faith demands he prepare halal food. Doesn't matter the race / religion / skin color. The bike-riding mouth-breathers determined they were superior and they felt secure the victim wouldn't retaliate. Opportunistic thugs.

@LakotaMan1 I don't see schools asking Sikh or Jain boys to remove their turbans. What is the difference? I was made to cut my hair just because good, upstanding Catholic boys ALWAYS presented a clean-cut look (under threat of pain, I might add). It was WRONG to inflict homogeny.
Six years in and it's FINALLY something I can see and feel. As a teacher, a (grand)parent, and a mentor to many, I wonder if the "young'uns" ever hear, heed or even care about what I say when they ask me things.
Yeah... sometimes they do.
This is literally why I get up daily!
The first of many successful teacher training sessions concludes with teacher commitments to apply what they've learned. Tsuboyama and I will come back to check, hoping to be thrilled about happenings in classrooms. @NASEF_Japan@NASEFgg@GeraldSolo85090@clairelabeaux
