@BeyerHill Occasionally moved on the modern railway (layout) as it gets shifted between heritage lines.
And at other times left forgotten in a disused sidding.
@1701aStarship@hr_unhinged Ive to walk from point if work, use 2 machines just to reach the water cooler, and then when I want to return to work, go up 6m of stairs, along a hall and back down 6m to be nearly where I started.
To be cost effective I normally hang around till I need a pee after the water

Some sort of pivoting 'flag' that is moved clear by the closing of the section and when it opens in turn drops across the track. Sounds like a job for a bell crank.
The ability to think of something, design it digitally and then go to the garage and print it is probably the biggest wonder of our age.
It sums up how technology and computing have moved so far. To think my first cnc was still using punched tape.

When i printed the fuel flasks I did 4 different orientation at once and then picked the best. Slight waste of resin but saved on time
